Should sports in overtime preeempt/run over regular programming?

Yes, on any channel! Nobody should watch anything else while there's sports to be watched!

I hate it when I want to watch a show only to be unable to do so because some sporting event hasn't finished yet and somebody thinks sports are more important than anything else and/or for everybody.
Sure, do it all you want on the sports channels; but not on "normal" channels where other people are looking forward to their preferred regular programming.

Indeed at this tech age shouldn't channels and devises be able to postpone programs properly? Hard to believe...
